This series reflects my first impressions of Manchester through the lens of discovery and seasonal atmosphere. Capturing the city during November, I focused on the interplay of light, colour, and movement within the Christmas markets and urban streets. The images explore the tension between the bustling energy of the city and moments of quiet reflection, evoking the feeling of entering a new environment and experiencing its rhythms for the first time. Through these photographs, I aimed to translate the excitement, curiosity, and sense of wonder that come with discovering a city anew.
